Industrial Heat Treating Services

Since 1941, Superior Heat Treat has been a full service heat treat offering a broad set of processes on virtually all materials available to the metal working industry. We are the industry job turnaround leader with overnight delivery on most jobs. We offer pick-up and delivery of jobs within southeast Michigan. Jobs are processed under protective atmosphere in PLC controlled furnaces to ensure surface integrity and dimensional stability. We have a full met lab for verification of customer requirements.

Our quality system is registered to the ISO 9001:2008 standard and our processes are electronically surveyed by a plant wide process monitoring system. Our furnaces are equipped with unique quenching systems allowing for significant processing flexibility and minimum part distortion.

Superior Heat Treat has maintained a close working relationship with its customers and provides metallurgical consultation in the areas of material selection, manufacturing approach and design for heat treatability including parts with multiple hardness requirements.
