Since its inception, Superior Heat Treat LLC has handled gages of all kinds. We heat treat fixture gages, automatic in-line gages, ring gages and air gages for both functional and variable applications. These parts require heat treatment with an emphasis on stability both during heat treatment and after heat treatment. The machining tolerances on these parts are often measured in the millionths and stability during machining and customer end use is paramount. Minimizing distortion during heat treat and use of stabilization techniques such as deep freeze or cryogenic processing are important aspects of gage heat treatment.
