Many jobs today require a single part to have multiple hardnesses on the same part. A job may have two specific hardness requirements or it may have certain areas that want to be hard or remain soft. Techniques used to accomplish these jobs include, Carburize Only, Harden Only, Salt Hardening, Flame Hardening, and Flame Annealing or Drawing. Superior Heat Treat does not do induction hardening, but we can partner with outside firms to offer a turnkey solution on these types of jobs. |
